Saint Michael's Episcopal Church

AUSTIN, TEXAS

The landscape site plan and natural area protection was designed in accordance with the rigorous City of Austin Hill Country roadway ordinance for St. Michael's Episcopal Church located off of Capital of Texas Highway in Austin, Texas. The design included a large effort for preservation of existing trees which intailed transplanting 5 mature oaks on site and selection of native plants to blend with the hill country landscape.  The site plan arranged the building toward the front of the property and a thick buffer of existing vegetation was left in place to screen views of parking from the scenic roadway corridor.
